Go to the link below. Take the free online quiz based on the MBTI, a much longer assessment developed by Carl Jung and Isabel Briggs Myers. The MBTI is widely used as the basis for personality assessments by corporations and the military.

What type of personality are you according to the quiz? Read the information about your type. Does it seem on target? Explain how it does and does not reflect how you see yourself? [100 words]

  1. Elizabeth Clemmons: My result was INTJ, otherwise known as "The Architect." I believe this is right on target because this just simply describes the way I think, behave, and feel. I have always been introverted my whole life, and I personally believe this is entirely accurate. I am definitely inclined to be "kinda good" at a variety of different things, but at the same time I am very judgmental and socially awkward at times. I answered all the questions as truthfully as I could, and I came up with the same result as I have in the past, and it is shocking to think that only 0.08% of the female population is INTJ, and I kind of enjoy that fact, because it partially explains why I am so weird.

  2. According to the quiz, I am part of the ISTJ personality group. ISTJ personality types often have a keen sense of right and wrong and like to be punctual. Emotional expression takes a lot of energy and ISTJs often come across as cold. They are easily frustrated when others break commitments and do not express feelings unless asked. When asked, they do not coat the truth. They are also very determined. All of these traits seem to be dead on with my personality. The only thing in the description that I have to strongly disagree with is the notion that ISTJs are often “undone by threats to time-honored traditions and established organizations” and “’It’s always been done this way’ is often enough reason.” I welcome changes and am always questioning why things are done a certain way. “It’s always been done this way” is not a good enough reason for anything for me

  3. My result was INFJ. I had a hard time answering some of the questions because I have noticed that I have changed since last year. For the most part, I am still the same person I was but there are subtle differences. I still prefer reading a book than going to a party and planning every detail of my day, but I have started to be more outgoing and started going with the flow for lack of a better term. I have an idea of what my day would look like but I don't stick to it like I used to. As the analysis said, I do get mistaken for an extrovert at times because once I get to know a person, I begin to open up to them and having conversations with them becomes much easier. I also do take on the majority of the responsibility in everything I do because if I do it, I know the failing would be my fault and I would not have to worry about other people causing me to fail like in a group project for example.

  4. According to the quiz I am a ESFP kind of person. I tend to make judgments based on feeling instead of logic. The results of the test seem accurate. I have noticed that I tend to listen to my emotions to make decisions.

  5. I am an INTJ. Apparently this means I appear self-confident and sometimes arrogant. I am very sure of exactly what I do and do not know. I am supposed to be realistic and a tad perfectionistic. I also am quick to seize obvious opportunities. However, I am not very skilled in interpersonal relationships. In general this seems accurate.

  6. I am an ESTJ. I am slightly extroverted, I am sensing, I'm a thinker, and I am some what judge. I believe this is mostly true, though I would say I am a little more intraverted it game me. I am defiitely a thinker. My girlfriend says I think about what I am going to say a lot of times before I say it to make sure I say the right thing.

  7. According to the test I'm a ENTJ or extravert, intuitive, thinking, and judging.
I believe that the while the test is unbiased everyone is much deeper then a yes or no question. I agree that I am a extravert. But as far as thinking goes I tested at twelve percent. I'm a procrastinator not a true lazy person and when I have to pull my brain together it's not a problem. I do and have let emotion trump every bit of logical thinking. The N stands for initiative, which I can say that when I stop procrastinating I am one to take the lead. For J or judge mental thinking I scored at one percent. I've always considered myself as a person with extrem judge mental perception and common sense.

  8. According to the survey, my type of personality was scored highest on extravert at 67%. I feel this online survey was very accurate. I consider myself a very outgoing person who enjoys talking to people and making new friends. Being friendly is a very important thing to have when you reach the world and begin a job, so I am happy this was my top one. Extrovert was my highest by far, my second highest was perceiving at 50%. It does not affect me as much because sometimes I may not be the first person to say hi, but once we break the ice I am comfortable.

  9. According to the survey, my personality type is ENFJ or extravert, intuitive, feeling, and judging. I feel like this is a pretty accurate description of my personality! I have always felt comfortable talking to new people and interacting in larger groups, however I do like to have my own quite time and appreciate time spent alone. I learn best by doing and like to see the big picture rather than the details. I do let my feelings play a big role in how I make my decisions, but I also take in account the rationalities of the options.

  10. The personality quiz classified me as an INTJ (Introvert, Intuitive, Thinking, Judging) person. I was not surprised after I read the description of exactly who this type of person is because this is who I always thought I was. I completely agree with the website quiz along with everyone else who commented on the INTJ description page. Do other people view my as an INTJ? That is the question I would really like to be answered. People may perceive themselves differently then what others may think of them and it would be interesting to find out.

  11. according to the survey i am ISTP i disagree with what the statistics say. maybe because i in denial but its very mind blowing. my lowest was my thinking and its at 1% i could agree that i don't think before i do a lot of things. my highest was my perceiving, i agree with this because i see i envision my ideas and i take mental notes as i see something and i love to make something out of nothing.

  13. The quiz says that I'm INTJ. I'd say that it is somewhat accurate but I disagree when it says I'm judging. I do not judge people or things by their cover. The quiz could have a few more questions than it does because it's difficult to make accurate results with the amount if questions that are on there.

  14. The quiz said that I am ENFP which is basically the extrovert. It also says I use feelings over thinking and intuition over sensing. I am definitely an extrovert I am very comfortable talking in front of an audience or a big crowd and I love going out and mingling with people. I do enjoy alone time but I like going out more. I also tend to let my feeling get in the way of rational thinking. I have a bad temper which makes me act on impulse. I do sympathize with feeling and almost anything makes me sad. I think the test was very accurate with the results and it held a lot of truth.
