If you knew that in one year you would die suddenly, would you change anything about the way you're now living? What would you change? What would you not change? Explain. (100 words)

If I had knowledge that in exactly one year I was going to suddenly die, first I would take out a very large life insurance policy. After that, I would quit my job, cash in any investments or assets I have, possibly get some cash advances if necissary, and travel the world for my last year with my family and close friends. I would try to paint more so that everybody could remember happy things about me, and I would just try to relax and be happy. I would be camping for most of the year, traveling music festival to music festival just enjoying life and adventure for all the time that I could. I wouldn't want to have to worry about anything, and I would just try to enjoy the life the world has chosen for me. It would be a blessing to know that I can guilt-free relax for the remainder of my lifetime.

  2. If I knew that in a year I would die suddenly, I would most likely stop attending school and try to live the rest of my life as fully as I possibly could. I would travel to as many beautiful places as I could. I would probably continue working at my job and using the money I earn to pay my travels. I would also try to visit with my friends and family more.

  3. If I did knew that in a year I was going to die I would change my aspect on life. I would take the time and spend more time with my loved ones. Now it seems like I don't spend as much time as I should with them. I would also not sweat the small stuff. Stressing myself over small things keeps me from looking at the bigger picture and it also keeps me from enjoying the positive things that happen.

  4. Unfortunately death comes for us all. Death is usually not the most convenient thing to happen or take place. If someone like a doctor was to tell me that I had one year left to live their is not to much I would change. I'm surrounded by the people that mean the most to me everyday. Family is all that matters to me in my life. Sure it would be awkward knowing the exact date of your death but being as we all have to go it may open time to ' live it up' with my family.i would possibly make some amends with old friends. But family, as long as I get to spend the last year of life with them that sounds good to me.

  5. If I knew I was going to die, I don't think I would change anything about my life. I have worked hard the past couple of years and I am glad to say I am on the track I want to be on. I would however, do things on my bucket list that I have. The main thing I want to do is very cliche, but I want to travel a lot starting with the rest of America. The world is such a large place and it would be a shame to only see one very small piece of it. I have lived in many states, but there are many cities in each one. I would also learn how to ride a motorcycle, go to a gun range (because it seems interesting), and work at Barnes and Nobles. B&N is my absolute favorite place and I plan on working there at some point in my life. I like talking about books with other people and reading books together. I would be getting paid to do something I have fun doing.

  6. I would quit working as hard as I do now for money and relax more. I spend too much of my life working for people who don't value you as an employee. I would want to be with my family the majority of the time, traveling to places of interest to me. I would want to golf at Augusta National, catch Alaskan salmon on a fly rod, hunt ducks on the Mississippi delta. I would want to out with something to remember me by, and not someone who threw a pity party because they found out they're dying.

  7. If I knew I would die within a year it would likely have much influence on my life. I would quit my job and write a bucket list. I would do all the things I wanted to do in life ending with more and more dangerous tasks. I would go skydiving, skiing, base jumping, and all sorts of extreme sports. However, I would likely keep the information to myself as to not bring too much attention upon myself. I would try to live as full of a life as I could and get as many experiences as I wish to obtain out of life.

  8. Wow lots of things spring to mind that I'd like to get done in the next 40 or so years. How do you take a lifetimes worth of choices, chances, and experiences and shove them into 365 sunsets? I know no doubt, this guy would go out like a rock star.. Since this is a topic you could spend hours drinking at the bar and talking about I will narrow it down to getting getting married to my fiancee, trying for a child to carry my name and spending time with loved ones. In between those lofty ambitions man its pretty much no holds barred., no retreat, no surrender, ask for no quarter as none shall be given. I mean it really could get just a little bit ugly. I would become a hell's bent consumer of all the good, bad, and just straight ugly life has to offer. My path of desruction will be carved far and wide like the worst Cat 5 has to offer. I hope when all is said in done I will have ripped a bit of stuff up in the storm to watch the very end of it and the best of it. Seeing all those I love come out with to begin recovery from the storm weathered with the highest of hopes, a spirit that will soar again, the character and love it takes to build again. That little dash on my stone is really going to count!

  9. If I learned that I was going to die exactly one year from the day I was informed that knowledge of information would most definitely change my life. The first thing I would do is drop out of school and pack my bags to explore as much of the Earth as possible. I have always found different cultures intriguing and at sometime in my life I would want to experience the ways of life from all ends of Earth. Although It may sound selfish I would change my attitude to the no regrets “I matter most and I will do what I wish” type. One aspect of life that I would not chance is loving my family. My mom and sister people that matter most to me and I will always be close with them.

  10. If I was going to die in one year, I would change somethings but not all things. I enjoy the life I live now, I would just spice things up a little bit. First, I would create a list of all the things I would like to experience before my life ended. I would make sure I did everything on that list that I might not have gotten around to right away. Life is precious and if you know you are going to die, you should do everything you have ever wanted to do, and do as much as you possibly can.

  11. If I knew that I was going to die in a year, I would start making travel plans immediately. Though I already try my best to make the most out of each day, I would put 100% effort into making each minute worthwhile. I would try harder every day to let my parents know how much I love and appreciate them for everything they have done. We opt to radiate love and positivity, but when you know you're going to die soon I think we'll all try a little harder to love more.

  12. if i had been informed that i was going to die in a year i would change a few things and leave some things the same. i also think to myself why would i change anything? if im guranteed to death in a year i doubt i would change all that much. i would probably reach out and help others in time of need. i wouldnt really change anything about my eating/ health status all that much, honestly it would probably get worse. but most of all i woulld probably try to accomplish my bucket list in that whole year until i die.

  13. If I was told I only had one year to live I would most likely do everything I possibly could every day. I would definitely plan trips to places I've ever been and do things that cause my adrenaline to start pumping. I would also remind everyone and everything how much I love and appreciate them. I believe that if I had a time limit for how long I would live, I would turn into the most carefree person because I don't have time to get angry and hold grudges. I only have to enjoy everything and live life to the fullest.

  14. If I had only one year to live I would try to travel to as many places as possible and I would give most of my belongings to people in need. I would go to the furthest extent to ensure that people do not mourn my death. Death is something that we will experience; it's one of the many inevitable occurrences in life.
